Manson Garrick
After a career spanning enforcement, consulting and financial services, Manson is now bringing his deep experience of Governance, Compliance and Financial Crime Risk Management directly to businesses, family offices and other professional service providers.
Passionate about using technology to improve efficiency and ensure positive customer experiences he helps merge future possibilities into existing frameworks in a way that is pragmatic, compliant and effective.
As a senior Managing Director, he has built and transformed multiple operating utilities and managed first-hand the impact of major fraud, money laundering and compliance failures. He has built two boutique financial crime consulting practices and understands business drivers and has worked with PwC and other advisory firms.
Manson brings a wealth of experience and leadership knowledge having managed global teams at Standard Chartered Bank, JP Morgan, Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse, developing strategy and consistently delivered against challenging environments, regulatory expectation and operating targets.
He uses his experience to help develop future leaders and talent at all levels. He is a sought after speaker and accredited trainer.
Helen Luo
An innovative and tech-savvy senior risk manager and strategist seen as a leader in sustainability and digital transformation. She is recognised as a data analytics SME with a record of multiple green-field buildouts across credit portfolio management, enterprise risk management, data management and client risk.
Helen’s working experience includes major financial institutions in the European and Asian Financial Services markets and Management Consulting Industry. Highly analytical with honed board-level presentation and communication skills, she is a certified trainer.
- Helen has established enterprise analytics programs (using machine learning, natural language processing, large language models) for control functions within major global banks, enhancing key analytical competencies and Financial Crime outcomes.

A major banking client wanted to transform their fraud risk management framework, which was no longer effective or manageable with more that 2,400 identified controls.

We tailored a series of workshops to identify fraud risk in key banking products, understand existing control effectiveness and identify any gaps. We overlayed data analytics to identify non-performing controls and applied an independent testing lens enabling us to identify 400 key controls across all products.
